ABOUT OUR FABRICATION FOR HARD LANDSCAPING
At CEL, we focus on bringing manufacturing closer to our customers. We provide expert sheet metal fabrication services for hard landscaping customers around the UK and into projects around Europe.
Operating out of our factory with over 16,000 ft2 space located in Sittingbourne, Kent. All of our fabrication services are carried out in-house. We provide a complete service offering from initial design to manufacture.
Typical projects include work with retaining walls, street furniture, planters, cycle parking equipment, tree grilles and we do the occasional bespoke design projects. Our work can be found throughout the UK, in many European countries, Australia and in the United States.
It was a real pleasure working with CEL. They totally understood our brief from the start and the quality we were after. I was delighted with the final outcome and think the laser cut COR-TEN panels are a fabulous new addition to the park, and will act as a lasting legacy of the enormous community effort that made this project a reality.

HARD LANDSCAPING CASE STUDY
Laser cut cor-ten panels
Renowned public artist, Gordon Young designed the Calverley Community Wall to recognise those who have sponsored the Calverley Adventure Grounds project in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Designed for a playground created by Director of Landscape Architecture at LUC, Jennette Emery-Wallis, we laser profiled ten COR-TEN Panels with the names of all sponsors of the Calverley Adventure Grounds.
This wonderfully rich-hued material, used in landscaping, architecture and sculpture, was chosen as a subtle reference to the iron-rich Chalybeate Spring that helped found Tunbridge Wells. The panels aesthetically complement the wood of the play equipment and the sandstone wall upon which they are mounted.
