It was a double win for Contracts Engineering (CEL) after being named Best Small Business and Best Creative, Digital and Innovation Business at the Canterbury Business Awards 2023.
The award for the Small Business category – aimed at companies with fewer than 50 employees – was given in recognition of CEL’s consistent growth backed by a strong financial performance and clear understanding of the markets we operate in.
For the Creative/Digital and Innovation category, judges were looking for evidence of commercial success in delivering better products and services – including bringing new ideas to life.
Troy Barratt, Managing Director, Contracts Engineering, said: “I’m so proud of the whole team for their part in the success we’re building at Contracts Engineering. Each and every one of our amazing employees has played a part – and it’s wonderful to have that recognised.
“To have one award would have been great, but to be named double winners on the night was fantastic and is testament to the hard work that goes on here every day as we continue to invest and grow.”
