Quality carried through from fabrication to finish
Contracts Engineering is ISO 9001:2015 accredited, and the same quality management system that governs fabrication carries across into the finishing cell at Custom Wytelyne. The two Core KPIs the whole group runs to, Quality Spills and On-Time-In-Full delivery, apply to the finish as much as the fabrication. That matters. When fabrication and powder coating sit within the same group, quality issues are resolved collaboratively rather than becoming disputes between separate suppliers. Components move between facilities on a coordinated production schedule instead of through a third-party logistics chain, reducing lead times, minimising handling damage and improving overall accountability. This integrated approach provides a single source of supply — from raw material through to a fully finished component — under one purchase order.
The full fabrication route
Finishing is one part of the route. We also run laser cutting, CNC turret punching, folding and forming, and manual and robotic welding, all in-house at Sittingbourne.
