Contracts Engineering restructures leadership team for strategic growth

Published - 17th Jun 2026

Contracts Engineering Ltd has restructured its senior team to align day-to-day management with a long-term strategy of winning and retaining high-volume work with original equipment manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers.

The changes consolidate operations, sales, supply chain, engineering and quality under a single leadership structure – one designed for longer-cycle programmes and the kind of partnership-based relationships that matter most to the OEMs and Tier 1 customers we work with.

Leadership changes in detail

Daniel Mills is now General Manager, taking responsibility for day-to-day management of the business with sales and supply chain added to his existing operations, engineering and quality remit. Daniel joined as Production Manager in 2024, stepped up to Operations Manager in mid-2025, and brings twenty years of senior manufacturing experience in Brazil, including Plant Director roles with multinational OEMs.

Craig Pagett moves from Engineering Manager to Production Manager, with responsibility for planning, workflow, labour and daily shop floor performance. He will also lead the company’s continuous improvement programme across the site.

Samantha Doy formalises her role as Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager, a position she has held since August 2025, with a remit that covers supplier performance, cost control, and managing volatility from CBAM, Middle East supply chain disruption, and raw material inflation. Amy Simmons has been promoted to Purchasing and Office Team Leader to support the expanded function.

Sean Johnson becomes Technical Manager, bringing quality, engineering and the robotics and automation programme together under one function. The realignment connects jig design and manufacture directly with NPI prioritisation across the welding cells. Craig Brice has been promoted to team leader for the robotic welding cells, and Thomas Vandepeer joins as Quality Engineer from BAE Systems.

Tyrone de Saedeleer continues as Sales Manager. The role has evolved substantially toward consultative, partnership-led account development – reflecting how OEM and Tier 1 customers want to engage with their fabrication partners.

Dave Fisk steps back from the General Manager remit to focus on group manufacturing services strategy and senior client relationships in the role of Managing Director, working alongside Catherine Barratt, CEO of BAMUK Group.

“Carbon border pricing arrives in January 2027. Shipping volatility has become the baseline. Our job is to be the partner that turns that complexity into a calmer supply chain – and the structure we’ve announced is built to do exactly that,” said Dave Fisk, Managing Director.

Contracts Engineering is part of the BAMUK Group, which also includes powder coating specialist Custom Wytelyne Ltd and street furniture manufacturer Furnitubes International. The group structure gives clients an integrated fabrication-and-finish capability under shared infrastructure, with a single accountable schedule and the operational stability of a group-backed business.
