We were also thrilled to have Gordon Henderson, MP for Sittingbourne and Sheppey, visit us a second time to attend our open house and officially cut the ribbon on our new factory!
Gordon has been a great, vocal supporter of local businesses and manufacturing in our community and we’re thankful for his time.
Gordon said “I first met Troy and Catherine when I visited their previous workshop on the Eurolink and was impressed with the professionalism of both them and their staff. As somebody who has been in business myself, I soon realised that such a well-run company was going to be a success and it did not surprise me to learn that the property they rented was too small for the rapid expansion they witnessed. I was delighted to attend the recent open day held and felt honoured to be asked by Troy and Catherine Barratt to officially open their new base. I was delighted to learn that the company had taken over the building on the Trinity Trading Estate that was used by Carillion as a training centre, before it went into administration. I was impressed with the speed with which the building has been transformed into an excellent factory and was interested to be able to see some of the specialist engineering work being undertaken on the site. I am proud to have such a go-ahead company as Contracts Engineering Ltd in my constituency and I wish them well for the future.”
